Today we enjoyed an assembly from the group

The children were beaming this morning with pride and accomplishment. They were so proud of their performance of Mrs. Wishy Washy. Thank you for all your support!

Grandfriends Day 2011

Habitat Design

We had a Fabulous week!

On Monday we had our last constellation with our individual groups. We will meet again on the 23rd to share the Lower Division Poetry Book!

Grandfriends Day was just PERFECT! It was so nice to meet everyone and to see the kids shine. They loved spending time with them in an environment that is their own.

Literacy

* Reviewed the letter Y

* Played many sight word games (review, write, spell, and read)

* Wrote letters to our pen pals in Alabama! Ask you child about their new friend...

*Finished up our Poems and Grandfriend book. The book is in the class if you would like to see. The Grandfriends took home their poem!

Math

*Designed our Centers for Grandfriend's Day

*Writing steps for each and displaying them at each table

*Reviewed Number stories, Coin game, and Guess My Number
